Meet Ligaya, a tribeswoman from Mindanao
"Malaki ang naitulong ng Calamus Rattan at Green Inc. Hindi lang para sa akin, kung 'di pati na rin sa mga kasamahan ko sa aming pang-araw-araw na panggastos, at sa [pag-aaral ng] aming mga [anak na] estudyante. Malaki talaga ang naitulong nito sa aming barangay [dahil] hindi na kami nahihirapan pumunta sa malayo [para magtrabaho]."
English Translation: Calamus Rattan and Green Inc. changed our lives. They continue to help not only me and my family but also my fellow tribespeople. Because of Green Inc., we can support our families’ daily needs, especially for the education of our children. It really is a big help in our lives since we no longer have to leave our homes and family behind just to get a job.
Meet Ramon, a tribesman with hearing and speech disability
"Mabuti naman silang nagtatrabaho dito. Hindi naman ako nag-aalala kasi ang kanyang amo, hindi naman mahigpit, maayos naman ang pagtrato sa kanila. Okay naman siya sa kanyang trabaho . Ang kaniyang sweldo, okay naman. Masaya siya kapag nakakatanggap ng sweldo."
English Translation from Agnes' statement: Ramon's being treated properly here [at Green Inc.]. I don't have to worry about him because his supervisor is nice and considerate of his disability. He is able to do his job well. His salary is competent and enough for our family. He's happy about his salary and job here.
Meet JB, a indigenous person from Visayas
"Ako po ay isang tricycle driver dati pero kulang po [para sa] needs [ng aking] pamilya. Kaya malaking bagay na nakapasok ako dito sa Green Inc. dahil sa pangaraw-araw na pangangailangan, may makukuha dito na pang-suporta sa aking pamilya at may maibigay na pang-araw araw na pagkain."
English Translation: I used to be a tricycle driver before but the income is not enough to support the needs of my family. That's why, it was so important that I got this job from Green Inc. because now, I am able to provide for my family's daily meals and other needs.
Meet Herbert, a worker from Luzon
"Malaki ang natulong ng Green Inc. Dahil sa trabaho ko, nasusuportahan ko ang aking tatlong anak."
English Translation: Green Inc. was able to help me provide for my family, especially for my three kids.
